The WLF mentor project welcomes interns from around the world through established WLF networks. Some past interns are listed below.

Milena Gawczynski
"The WLF internship was a great opportunity to meet interesting people and gain a lot of work experience in Parliament. During my time in London I learnt to take over responsibility. Milena has been living in Dusseldorf, Germany for four years. In January 2007 she finished an apprenticeship at the advertising agency Grey Worldwide in Dusseldorf. After that, Milena successfully completed an internship at the Public Relations agency Hill & Knowlton Beijing, China, where she supported a team working among other projects on the Olympic Summer Games 2008 in Beijing. In October 2007 Milena started a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Culture at the Heinrich Heine University Dusseldorf.

Snejana Kitaeva
Snezhana Kitaeva graduated with an MBA from The Stockholm School of Economics in December 2008. Snezhana researched the Russian rules and regulations of closed-end mutual funds. At present, she works as a Business Developer Executive for an asset management company with an expertise in strategic and operation marketing. Well done Snezhana!

Jo Cordrey
Jo is a recent graduate from Nottingham University where she read Politics. The internship in the House of Lords was a unique and very significant time, with the opportunity to meet a diverse range of people and build and develop skills. She hopes to develop this by pursuing further experience within central government with a view to a career in this area.

Anna Isabel McDermott
Anna is currently studying Political Science (emphasis in International Studies) at Pepperdine University. She is also working for the Dean of Seaver College at Pepperdine University as a research assistant, and as a student worker at the Pepperdine School of Public Policy. She hopes to return this summer to London for an internship. She graduates in 2009, and hopes to spend a year dedicated to humanitarian work before attending graduate school.

Since leaving WLF, Stuart has interned at Sky News, worked for the Magic Circle law firm, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and started an online website promoting US-style diversity strategies. He has recently graduated from Harvard Law School with his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. |

The experience with the WLF and the internship with Lord Taylor was extremely empowering and filled with professional human relationships. Helping Lord Taylor with his parliamentary daily duties, liaising on his behalf with corporate companies from wide spectrum sectors such as academic, financial and commercial was for me an enriching and inspirational year, both on a professional and personal level.
